Hydro-Jetting your home in the Inland Empire
Tankless Water Heaters, also known as on-demand hot water heaters, have been gaining popularity in homes across the nation over the last decade. They are popular choices as they are energy efficient and provide instant hot water. If you are considering a tankless unit for you home, Hedrick & Young is here to answer all of your questions!
Some Clogs are Worse Than Others
Tankless units heat water directly without the need of a storage tank. When the hot water is activated, cold water will travel through a pipe nto the unit. Either a gas burner or an electric element heats the water rapidly as it passes through. The result is a constant supply of hot water with no storage tankand no waiting for hot water again.
The typical on-demandd heater provides warm water at a rate of 2-5 gallons per minute. A gas-fired tankless water heater will produce higher flow rates than an electric one.
If your household is large and you use heated water in multiple ways at the same time, you may need to install two or more tanks to ensure that you have simultaneous hot water on demand. For example, taking a shower while running a clothes washer can stretch an on-demand unit to its limit.
What is Hydro Jetting
In the realm of plumbing maintenance, hydro jetting emerges as a beacon of innovation, introducing a paradigm shift in addressing the recurrent challenges posed by grease and sludge accumulation within drain and sewer lines. This groundbreaking procedure unfolds with the deployment of an infusion of highly-pressurized water, akin to a forceful surge of rejuvenation coursing through the intricate network of conduits. This dynamic surge expeditiously dislodges and expels every vestige of impediments that once hindered the unobstructed flow. The culmination of this meticulous process ushers in a transformative metamorphosis—a complete cleanse that rids pipes and lines of the burden of accumulated hair, oil, and various forms of debris. These accumulations, often the culprits behind line congestion, are eradicated, paving the way for a landscape of unfettered flow.
